From October 19 to 26, 2024, San Jose, Costa Rica, transformed into a hub for Web3 enthusiasts, developers, and blockchain advocates from across Latin America, all converging at “Discover the Land of Innovation.” This week-long event took place at Sede Inter-Universitaria in Alajuela, inviting attendees to engage with Ethereum technology. At the heart of the event was the “ETH Pura VIDA” Hackathon and Conference, an immersive program that brought participants together to push the boundaries of Web3 and drive Ethereum adoption in Costa Rica and beyond.

On October 26, members of AsoBlockchain delivered a captivating keynote on “Tokenización de Activos Reales en Costa Rica – Panel Rumbo a Ticoblockchain 2025.” This keynote explored the future of asset tokenization, detailing how blockchain is opening new opportunities for digitizing and trading real-world assets. The conference also featured panel discussions on DeFi, offering a guide to the transformative potential of decentralized finance for reshaping traditional financial systems. Attendees benefited from practical sessions like “Demystifying Web3 Wallets,” bridging the gap for Web2 users, and discussions on open-source licensing, sharing best practices for fostering innovation in the decentralized ecosystem.
