On August 27, 2024, the Blockchain Association of Costa Rica (AsoBlockchain) hosted a significant meeting at the Santa Ana Country Club (SACC), welcoming a delegation from the Colombian Federation of the Software and Related Computer Technologies Industry (Fedesoft). This organization, with over 30 years of experience, has been instrumental in representing the interests of Colombia’s technology industry before the government and other entities.
The primary goal of this meeting was to establish strategic alliances between Colombian and Costa Rican companies and to explore opportunities for the joint expansion of businesses in the region. The Fedesoft delegation expressed keen interest in learning about the current development of information technology (IT) in Costa Rica, as well as the emerging initiatives within the country’s tech ecosystem.
AsoBlockchain representatives, along with entrepreneurs who are part of the association, provided a detailed overview of our organization, its activities, and achievements, while also offering an analysis of the current state of the technology industry and innovation in Costa Rica.
The Colombian delegation showed great interest in the presentation, highlighting the collaboration opportunities discussed and expressing their satisfaction with the visit. Fedesoft representatives emphasized the importance of delving into Costa Rica’s information technology (IT) ecosystem and noted that they identified numerous opportunities for their business community.
The event concluded with a networking session, where participants had the chance to exchange ideas, establish new contacts, and discuss potential joint projects. The atmosphere was one of enthusiasm and satisfaction, with both parties discovering various possibilities for future partnerships.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to continue strengthening the collaboration and fostering innovation in the Central American region.
