On April 15, 2024, the Blockchain Association Costa Rica held its Annual Assembly, a notable event where the achievements of the last year and the future prospects for the organization were presented. During the Assembly, the presidency conducted a thorough review of the achievements of the last year, highlighting the organization of various events that have significantly contributed to the promotion and understanding of blockchain technology in Costa Rica:

• CriptoCantina^®: A series of informal educational meetings to discuss the latest trends and developments in the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
• Tico Blockchain: An annual event that brings together national and international experts to discuss and share their knowledge on various topics related to blockchain technology.
• Costa Rica Blockchain Week: A week dedicated to multiple activities and conferences that helped foster collaboration among industry professionals.

In addition to reflecting on past successes, the Annual Assembly was also the time to look forward and choose the new leaders who will guide the Association in the coming years. The new Board of Directors is composed of:

The vision for the next year includes expanding the member base, strengthening collaborations with international entities, and continuing to promote the adoption and understanding of blockchain technology in Costa Rica.
